20/06/2009 Harris and I went for the Badminton competition organised by our club

Man's singles - 16 competitors divided into 4 groups. Top 2 players go into 1/4 final.

Man's doubles - 8 pairs divided into 2 groups. Tops 2 pairs enter the semi final.

Harris at the end of his 1st year of badminton bashing, played quite well in his first ever badminton competition.

We even got ourselves into the Man's final!!!

After 6 Singles and 5 Doubles matches of a total of 25 sets non stop from morning 9am till 4pm, I was completely trashed. This is a lot harder than running a full marathon. I could hardly climb out of my bed the next day with aches all over.Ouch.. ouch.... but praise God for the game!
